moving out

You will need to advise our office by completing and signing the attached form,

giving at least 28 days notice prior to your lease end date / vacate date.

End Of Tenancy Agreement

If you intend to vacate the premises at the end of the current lease term, you must inform our office in writing, giving 28 days clear notice.  Please download Vacating Guide for tenants as a reference guide should it be required.

A Final Inspection of your property will be carried out once you provide vacant possession, however, we invite you to meet with us to do the final  inspection as per legislation guidelines. This will be completed day after your vacate date. If  we do not hear from you, we will assume you do not wish to be present and we  will carry out the inspection noting items as per your condition report  and provide an exit inspection report, with fair wear & tear  excepted.

Breaking Your Lease

For information on costs and obligations for breaking your lease, please contact your Property Manager.  Your Tenancy Agreement is a lawful contract and remains in force for the stated period as per the lease terms and conditions.

Agreement To End A Fixed Term Tenancy

If you decide to leave during a fixed term tenancy you should contact our office immediately so we can provide you with the correct forms to be signed by all parties. You will still be legally responsible for the tenancy and liable for rent, associated costs and maintaining the premises inside & out until the end of the agreement. Associated costs will be outlined to you. The tenancy will end when a suitable tenant is found or the fixed term agreement expires (whichever comes first).

Please note: if you have an NBN modem box with your NBN connection, this needs to remain at the property, do not pack it.
We would appreciate if you could keep the power connected until 5 days after your vacate date where possible, to allow us to turn the lights on so the inspections can be carried out in full.
